I didn't think I was getting any traffic on this weebly. So I am really sorry for no updates recently. I am currently working on Yaiba: Ninja Gaiden Z. And the Savage Fist project has been completed up to the point where I think it is a good portfolio piece. Unfortunately I don't have any one helping with art or animations, so I don't think it will ever become a real game. The systems will always be there if I ever want to pick it up. But I can't do it all alone =(.
Updated alot. 2 rounds to win or lose. Added changing environments depending on what enemy you select. I posted alot of videos on my channel as an update. Each with the different levels and environments. The fog and light volumes need to be added to switch on and off and not be as static as it is currently. Check out my youtube channel for more videos. Here is the latest update to Nano. Currently what needs to be done. Collision needs to be fixed for a few of the worms. Health system after the heart needs to be tweaked to react to the players actions Fog volume needs to be added to the heart. Bacteria spawner needs bigger spawnable assets. Disable sounds when you kill AI Enemies. End Credits Trigger when health reaches zero it ends the game with a game over. Working on bugs currently. Added - Map/Enemy select screen. In the future I will make it so you have to unlock 3 Rounds. Win/loss round system Win triggers (for future ma/character unlocks) Fixed - Health System and GUI Health Systems work together. Most the time Still not working - Combo system breaks health system. Have to fix/remove Health system works 9 Adding Materials, Animations, other stuff as it comes in. The last part of this video shows the combo system i have in place for special attacks. Completed a Nano Update. Most of the objectives are blocked out. Just need to polish polish polish. Created and polished a 3 hit combo/special attack system. It's currently only connected to music since I wasnt able to put in Chris' animations just yet.
Worked on Nano during this week. Working on making it more pretty. Switching out meshes and working with saturation levels and post processes. I need to make a few more meshes but that could only take a day to finish them. Added a quest bar at the bottom that updates when the player reaches certain areas, or complete certain tasks. I'm back at my full time job. Unfortunately I won't be able to attend class until next week. Since Monday, I completed some bug fixes in Nano. Changed the green particle effect to black (Thanks Nick it looks good). And tested out the new animations in the fighting game. A long way to go. |
